Candida Support is an antimicrobial blend of herbs with anti-fungal properties. It contains Berberine, Oregano, Sodium Caprylate, and Pau D'Arco, Ginger, and Cinnamon that inhibit the growth of Candida (yeast) in the body.
For example, it may be helpful for women who get recurrent vaginal yeast infections. It also may help people who get dandruff (scalp fungus) or fungal skin infections (like tenia versicolor or ringworm).
It can also be used to treat fungal and bacterial imbalances (dysbiosis) in the gut microbiome. Excessive sugar cravings is sometimes a clue of Candida overgrowth in the gut microbiome.
When treating yeast and fungal infections like Candida, it may also be helpful to take a broad-spectrum probiotic, like Probiotic 100 Billion and the probiotic yeast called Saccharomyces boulardii.
Suggested Dose: 1 capsule twice daily after food to treat Candida and fungal infections. It can be taken at lower dose of 1 capsule daily to prevent a recurrence of fungal or yeast infections.
Allergen Information: Free of gluten, dairy, and soy. It contains a trace amount of corn-derived maltodextrin, which serves as a carrier for certain active ingredients (see details in FAQ below). It comes in a vegetarian capsule.
The Berberine present in Candida Support does have drug interactions with blood thinners and immunosuppressive medications. Please discuss with your doctor or pharmacist if you are on prescription medications to check for an interaction.
Candida Support should not be taken during pregnancy or lactation.
