H pylori Treatment
FAQ
Please watch her video on H. pylori for full details of the protocol.
This combination helps increase efficacy against more virulent and resistant strains of H. pylori.
Generally, this herbal protocol is well tolerated. Some people are aware of the garlic smell from the Allicidin on their breath and body odor. Taking Digestive Enzyme Pro with the herbs can help reduce side effects of the herbs. You can also freshen your breath by putting 2 drops of essential peppermint oil in a glass of water and sip as needed. You can also use essential oils to help freshen your body odor as well. Mild nausea or headaches can happen in the initial days of starting the herbal protocol due to “die off” of the bacteria. This should subside within a few days as your body adjusts to the herbs. If you experience abdominal pain or vomiting, please stop the herbs and seek immediate medical attention.
Any adult who is diagnosed with an active H. pylori infection (by stool test, breath test or endoscopy with biopsy) who prefers to avoid antibiotics (which often have side effects and can impact the gut microbiome) may consider this herbal protocol. Adults with a prior history of C. diff infection caused by antibiotics, may want to consider this herbal protocol.
Individual results vary depending on the resistance and virulence of your H. pylori infection. Generally, we see over 70% success rate with the herbal protocol. We encourage retesting for H. pylori by stool test or breath test upon completion of your treatment.
The herbs have anti-inflammatory benefits and work to treat dysbiosis (bacterial or fungal imbalance) in the gut as well. Hence people see overall improvement in their digestion and bowel habits after completing this protocol.
