Hi Friends,

Bloating and IBS are becoming alarmingly common. Yet so many people are told their symptoms are “normal,” stress-related, or something they’ll simply have to live with.

What most people don’t realize is that a major driver of chronic bloating and IBS is often SIBO—a condition that is frequently missed and inadequately treated in conventional medicine.

This is a pattern I see every single day in my practice. Patients come to me after years of “normal” testing, failed medications, and restrictive diets. This topic is deeply personal for me as well. Years ago, my own struggle with SIBO forced me to think more critically about how best to treat the gut.

This video reflects the intersection of my medical training, years of clinical experience, and my own journey with SIBO. It is the most honest and comprehensive explanation I have shared about why SIBO has become so common, why it is so often missed, and why conventional treatments frequently fail.

In this video, I explain:
🌿 Why SIBO is rising at an alarming rate
🌿 Why it is so often missed or misdiagnosed
🌿 Why conventional treatments have high failure and relapse rates
🌿 The biggest myths surrounding “gut healing”
🌿 How my own SIBO journey shaped the protocol I now use with patients

This video represents the heart of what I call The SIBO Revolution—a new way of understanding IBS, bloating, and gut health that moves beyond symptom suppression and toward root-cause healing.

If you or someone you love has been struggling with chronic digestive symptoms, I hope this video brings clarity, validation, and hope. Remember, true gut healing is possible.

Strawberry Date Salad

Here's one of my favorite refreshing salads I enjoy during the summer. Strawberries are loaded in antioxidants, and dates have incredible fiber for the microbiome. This salad is the perfect balance of sweet, bitter, tart, creamy, and crunchy!

Ingredients:

Your favorite greens, 2 big handfuls
Strawberries (organic), chopped (about 5 per salad)
Walnuts (small handful per salad)
Medjool dates, 2 per salad, sliced
Red onion, chopped
Avocado (1/2 small to 1/4 large)

Dressing: Extra Virgin Olive oil (1.5 tablespoon/ salad) + Lime Zest + Fresh Lime Juice (1/2 lime/ salad) + Himalayan Salt (1/8 tsp) and pepper (pinch)

Toss together and enjoy!

I love that this salad has so many vibrant colors, it even looks beautiful!  Making and eating this salad always makes me happy!

Wellness Hack That Works!

I started a new habit that has made a noticeable difference in my morning energy, so I wanted to share it. It’s simple, free, and perfect for these hot summer months.

#1 Start the day with a workout
#2 End my morning shower with cold water

As someone who normally cannot handle the cold, this was definitely a shock at first! The first day, I lasted about 10 seconds. But each day, I’ve been able to tolerate it a little longer—now 30 seconds or more.

And I have to say, when I get out of the shower, I feel incredibly refreshed, awake, and ready to start my day. As someone who functions without caffeine, this has been an extra boost to my morning routine.

There’s actually some science behind that feeling. Cold exposure activates the nervous system and can increase adrenaline and dopamine—chemicals that make you energized, happy and alert. No wonder it's invigorating!

Give it a try and see how you feel!
