Roasted Garlic
While raw garlic has more of the bioactive compounds intact, cooked garlic is often easier to digest. Oven roasted whole garlic bulbs are absolutely delicious! The garlic cloves soften and caramelize and taste amazing straight from the bulb, or added to other dishes like a homemade pesto sauce!
Garlic is truly one of nature’s best medicines.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Use a sharp knife to cut 1/4 to 1/2 inch off the top of a whole bulb of garlic to expose the individual cloves of garlic.
Drizzle with olive or avocado oil.
Wrap in aluminum foil.
Bake for 40 minutes until golden.
Enjoy the cloves straight out of the bulb, or add them to recipes like Pesto Sauce, or Mashed Cauliflower.
Enjoy!
