Dear Friends,
Happy New Year's Eve! As we close out 2025, I’ve been reflecting on what an incredible year it has been—and on the big strides we took together in the world of Integrative and Functional Medicine.
I wanted to share a few meaningful moments from both my professional and personal life this year.
In 2025, I launched what I call the “SIBO Revolution” on social media—a focused effort to raise awareness about this often-overlooked root cause of bloating and IBS, and to offer clearer answers and real solutions. I’m also in the final stages of editing a new SIBO Revolution video, which will be coming very soon.
This year, I leaned more fully into content creation across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. I created over 100 short educational videos, along with more carousel-style posts designed to share save-worthy, easy-to-understand health information—much of it centered on gut health and SIBO.
One of the greatest joys for me this year has been content creation itself. I truly love translating what I see every day in clinical practice into information that empowers people to better understand their bodies and their health. Knowing that something I shared helped someone feel less confused, less alone, or more hopeful is what motivates me to keep showing up and sharing.
This year, I also put together the SIBO Library—a collection of real patient case reports that show the step-by-step healing journeys of individuals who transformed their lives using my SIBO protocol. My hope is that it serves as both education and inspiration—a place people can turn to for clarity, encouragement, and the reassurance that they are not alone, and that true healing is possible.
Behind the scenes, my office continued to grow this year. My team expanded from two to four employees. While many of you know Allexis and Sim from your visits, Liz and Janessa have also joined us behind the scenes to support our patients and our mission. I’m deeply grateful to my husband (whom some of you may know as Dr. Roy), who is always there, ready to lend a hand, keep operations moving smoothly, and serve as my biggest cheerleader and supporter.
On a personal note, this year marked a new chapter for our family as my son started high school. He’s developed a strong interest in biology and has shown himself to be incredibly self-motivated and hardworking, which has been especially rewarding for me to watch. He’s also passionate about baseball and plays on the junior varsity team. Seeing him become a more responsible and kind human being has been one of the highlights of my year.
This Christmas, I visited Hawaii, where I grew up, and was reminded of how deeply that place continues to shape who I am. The days were filled with simple joys—papayas and pineapple, warm sand, soft breezes, light drizzles, and the magic of unexpected rainbows. Most meaningful of all was spending time with my parents and meeting some incredible new people. The spirit of Ohana—family, connection, and presence—was felt everywhere. I returned feeling refreshed, grounded, and deeply grateful as we head into the New Year.
As I look ahead to 2026, I see exciting things on the horizon. I look forward to continuing this work—meeting new patients, creating educational content, and sharing the topics that matter most to you. If there’s something you’d like me to explore in the coming year, please feel free to respond to this email with your thoughts.

Returning from Hawaii, I discovered that adding a touch of pineapple to a veggie stir-fry completely transforms the flavor. One bite and I’m right back on vacation.
2 cups broccoli florets, chopped
2 zucchini, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 red onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup snap peas
1 cup toasted cashews
2 cups pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
¼ cup tamari (or coconut aminos for a soy-free option)
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil or avocado oil for sautéing
Heat olive oil or avocado oil in a pan over medium heat.
Sauté the red onion and garlic until fragrant.
Add the vegetables, pineapple and tamari, and sauté for about 5 minutes.
Cover and cook for an additional few minutes until the veggies are tender-crisp.
Stir in the toasted cashews.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy.
As we step into the New Year, I’d love to ask you:
What are your goals for 2026?
With gratitude,

Rajsree Nambudripad, MD
