Phosphatidyl Serine

Hi Friends👋, Every cell in our body has a cell membrane that is made out of a phospholipid bilayer. This includes the cells in our brain🧠 (neurons) and even the cells in our reproductive organs. Going back to high school biology class 🤓, this is a double layer of lipids arranged so their hydrophilic (water-loving) heads are on the outside of the membrane, and their hydrophobic (water-fearing) tails are on the inside of the membrane.

One of the most important phospholipids is Phosphatidyl Serine. The research on Phosphatidyl Serine is quite impressive. It has been found to:

1) Improve Memory and Cognitive Function 🧠
2) Reduce the Risk of Cognitive Decline and Alzheimer's Disease
3) Reduce the Stress Hormone known as Cortisol
4) Improve Mood (Reducing Anxiety and Depression) 😟
5) Help with Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)
6) Improve the Health of Sperm and Egg, hence Improving Fertility
7) Improves Focus in ADHD

Food sources of Phosphatidyl Serine include chicken, liver, fish, beans, and soy. However, many people are minimizing soy consumption due to allergies, sensitivities, and due to the fact that a lot of soy products are genetically modified (GMO).

The great news is we carry a soy-free Phosphatidyl Serine made from sunflowers🌻! It can be taken up to 3 capsules a day, in divided doses (with each meal) or all together.

I have received amazing feedback from my patients supplementing with Phosphatidyl Serine. It helped those who suffered from a flare up of anxiety and insomnia during the pandemic. It has also been helpful for those under chronic stress.

If you are experiencing brain fog or lapses in memory, you may benefit from Phosphatidyl Serine.

As the holidays🎄 approach, many of us are excited and stressed at the same time! If you're feeling anxious or having trouble sleeping, consider trying Phosphatidyl Serine.

Healthy cell membranes is the key to healthy cells, a healthy brain, healthy hormones, and a healthy YOU! 💫
