Hi Friends,

What do I always pack before boarding a plane? It’s not just snacks and sunscreen—it’s a curated mix of smart foods, trusted supplements, and skin protectors that help me stay energized, bloat-free, and glowing all summer long.

Here’s exactly what I bring with me—so you can travel well and feel amazing, no matter where the season takes you.

🧳 Smart Snacks for the Road or Air

Skip the airport junk food and avoid travel bloat with these easy, nutrient-packed staples:

Collagen with Hyaluronic Acid – Supports your skin, joints, and gut lining. Stir into your morning coffee or latte for easy nourishment and stable blood sugar.

Electrolyte powder – Replenish sodium, potassium, magnesium, and vitamin C after flying, sweating, or hiking.

Raw nuts – A travel essential rich in healthy fats and protein. I love almonds, walnuts, or macadamias.

Dried fruit – Great for fiber, quick energy, and natural sweetness. Medjool dates or prunes are my favorites.

💊 Travel Supplement Essentials

These functional medicine must-haves help you thrive while on the move:

Viramune – My immune shield for planes and crowded spaces. It combines Vitamin A, C, zinc, elderberry, echinacea, and lysine to help prevent viral infections.

Probiotic 20 Billion + S. boulardii – Your defense against traveler’s diarrhea, food poisoning, and gut disruption.

Methyl B12 Tablets – A sublingual pick-me-up for jet lag, brain fog, and low energy.

Essential Magnesium – Promotes deep sleep and muscle relaxation—especially helpful in unfamiliar hotel beds.

Digestive Enzyme Pro – Supports smoother digestion when you're eating restaurant food or cuisine your body isn’t used to. Helps reduce bloating and discomfort.

🌞 Skin Protection: Inside and Out

Sun exposure is part of summer—but with the right tools, damage doesn't have to be.

Zinc-based sunscreen – Choose a clean formula with non-nano zinc oxide for safe, effective UVA/UVB protection.

Vitamin C – A potent antioxidant that supports collagen, brightens skin, and helps defend against UV damage.

Glutathione – The master antioxidant. Helps your body detox, protects your skin from oxidative stress, and supports cellular repair.

Wide-brimmed hat or sun visor – Stylish and smart. Shields your face, chest, and neck from harsh rays.

Pro tip: Pair Vitamin C with Glutathione daily for an internal sun shield that keeps your skin radiant and resilient.

🍉 Watermelon Feta Sandwich

Looking for a refreshing twist on your usual salad or smoothie? This hydrating, sweet-and-salty “sandwich” is the ultimate summer bite—fresh, light, and totally unexpected.

Ingredients (Serves 2–4):

Watermelon slices (½ inch thick, about 3 x 3 inches)

Block of sheep’s milk feta, sliced

Persian cucumber, thinly sliced

Fresh basil leaves

Optional: balsamic glaze or cracked black pepper

Instructions:

Cut two matching slices of watermelon for each sandwich.

Layer with cucumber slices, a slice of feta, and basil leaves.

Top with the second watermelon slice.

Add a drizzle of balsamic or a sprinkle of pepper, if you like.

Serve chilled.

Simple. Stunning. Summer on a plate.

As temperatures rise, hydration becomes everything. It’s not just about quenching thirst—it’s the foundation for clear thinking, balanced mood, stable energy, smooth digestion, and glowing skin. Even mild dehydration can leave you feeling tired, foggy, or irritable.

So whether you're sipping an electrolyte drink, biting into a juicy watermelon, or blending up a cucumber smoothie—hydrate with intention. Your body, brain, and mood will thank.

Wishing you rest, renewal, and radiant health.
