FAQ

Who could benefit from taking Methylation Support?
Those looking to boost energy, mood, focus, and lower inflammation in the body may benefit from Methylation Support. Those with a homocysteine level that is elevated (ideal is 6 micromol/L, lower the better), could benefit from Methylation Support. Those with the MTHFR gene mutation could benefit from Methylation Support.
Should I take Methyl B Complex or Methylation Support?
Generally, Dr. Rajsree recommends starting with Methyl B Complex. If your homocysteine does not optimize to 6 micromol/L on Methyl B Complex, then you can switch to Methylation Support, which has the additional cofactor, trimethylglycine, that some people need for optimal methylation. For those with stubborn homocysteine levels (that remain elevated), the combination of Methylation Support + Methyl B12 Tablet can be used daily.
When is the best time to take Methylation Support?
Methylation Support is best taken after food after your first meal of the day. It is better to take it earlier in the day since it provides a lot of energy.
What are side effects of Methylation Support?
Methylation Support is generally well tolerated. If taken close to bedtime, it may affect your sleep. Very rarely someone may be sensitive to B vitamins and observe that it flares up their acne. Methylation Support causes your urine to turn bright yellow which is normal, since excess B vitamins are excreted in the urine.
What should my doctor monitor if I take Methylation Support?
The homocysteine level is a marker of methylation (a detox pathway) in your cells. Ideal homocysteine is 6 micromols/L (lower the better). If your homocysteine is higher than 6, then you may benefit from taking Methylation Support daily.
Who should avoid taking Methylation Support?
If you have neuropathy or a history of high B6 level, avoid taking Methylation Support because it contains B6. Methyl B12 Tablet would be a better alternative for those with neuropathy since it does not contain any B6. Methylation Support should not be used by children under 18 without express approval and supervision by a pediatrician or other qualified healthcare provider. Pregnant or lactating women should consult their physician before starting Methylation Support.
What allergens are in Methylation Support?
Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens or other trace ingredient carriers. This product is encapsulated in a vegetarian capsule.
How should I store Methylation Support?
Methylation Support should be stored in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight.
Is Methylation Support third-party tested?
Yes, all our supplements are third-party tested. Each product is crafted with the highest quality ingredients and undergoes rigorous third-party testing to ensure optimal purity, potency, and safety. We’re committed to providing you with supplements you can trust, free from harmful contaminants and unnecessary fillers.
