FAQ

Who can benefit from taking Iron?
Anyone with low iron stores (ferritin) could benefit from supplementing with iron. Optimal ferritin is > 100 ng/mL especially if you have symptoms of fatigue, brittle hair and nails, muscle cramps, or cold intolerance.
When is the best time to take Iron?
Iron is best taken after food with Vitamin C, an essential cofactor for iron absorption.
What are side effects of this Iron?
This Iron is ferrous bisglycinate, which is generally the best tolerated by the gut. However, in sensitive individuals, it can still sometimes cause constipation. If this happens, you can reduce the frequency of taking Iron or increase your dose of Essential Magnesium at bedtime.
Who should not take Iron?
Those with severe chronic constipation or Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) should avoid taking iron orally and consider intravenous (IV) Iron to bypass the gut. Please discuss this option with your physician. Iron should not be used by children under 18 without express approval and supervision by a pediatrician or other qualified healthcare provider. Pregnant or lactating women should consult their physician before starting Iron.
What allergens are present in Iron?
Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish, or tree nut ingredients. Produced in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens or other trace ingredient carriers. This product contains a trace amount of corn-derived maltodextrin, used as a carrier for certain active ingredients. This product is encapsulated in a vegetarian capsule.
Why Is corn maltodextrin in this product?
Corn maltodextrin is a highly refined ingredient commonly used in dietary supplements as a carrier or processing aid. It stabilizes and preserves the potency of active ingredients during encapsulation and throughout shelf life. The corn maltodextrin in our products is purified to remove detectable allergenic corn proteins, making it generally safe for most individuals with corn sensitivities, though tolerances may vary. Used in minimal amounts, it has no significant nutritional or physiological impact but ensures proper dosing, stability, and reliability of the supplement.
How should I store Iron?
Iron should be stored in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight.
Is Iron third-party tested?
Yes, all our supplements are third-party tested. Each product is crafted with the highest quality ingredients and undergoes rigorous third-party testing to ensure optimal purity, potency, and safety. We’re committed to providing you with supplements you can trust, free from harmful contaminants and unnecessary fillers.
